My friend and former classmate Alexander Crowden answered my call to speak to my Deakin University #ALR206 ‘Social Media Strategy and Tactics’ students.
Alex is ‘social media coordinator’ at Deakin University and is involved in some amazing projects!
He offered up some super valuable lessons, and great advice re social, student goals and career plans in general!

- the impact of small gestures and showing your community of followers that you are listening and care about them…
- That you have to make your own opportunities while you’re studying…
- And that it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission!
