I’m back for another year at the 2017 VCE and Careers Expo in Melbourne, presenting my seminar –

‘Shine Online: Use social media to build a positive online reputation and identity’

There was a great mix of students and educators in attendance, who really didn’t know what to expect when they arrived, but I did like that the majority ‘didn’t know what they wanted to do’ but had some interest in media and the online world – of course!

As opposed to some of the seminars running at the same time, ‘Pass VCE Maths’, or ‘Ace the Medicine Entry Exam’ or ‘Join the Army’… I was glad I could offer more generalised advice to the crowd about what to expect if they were ever to search out employment, apply for programs, camps or scholarships – from any of the great stall-holders in attendance at the Expo.
